He traveled from New Jersey to Los Angeles last year. We have our own RV though.
Hmm ... I think the majority of savings should be for gas - we went to Yosemite in California, and then we had to pay prices which were about $ 5.16 per gallon! You eat too much mind that VR gas!

As for advice: Avoid in national parks like Yosemite / Yellowstone / etc, because the areas are overcrowded and expensive and you can usually find trailer parks in the vicinity of Nice. But be careful, if you stay in a place somewhere in the vicinity of the tourist areas, the nearest gas higher, while primarily a tourist attraction.

But remember you also book the place, hotels, when it comes to areas of the city, like San Fran ... which are far too many people for recreational vehicles (in my opinion at least).

I hope this helped!

PS Be sure to Seattle, Grand Teton, Sequoia, Yosemite and Yellowstone to see where possible. Grand Canyon was also nice to be able to see.

I suggest renting a motorhome Google search to see the prices. Depending on the type you will expect to see consumption significantly.
Do you have your heart wants to travel to San Francisco? If not, I suggest you take Highway 90 West. Idaho, where he goes by, I think the point of lowest altitude in the Rocky Mountains or in the vicinity. Then you can see in Seattle, and drive down the Pacific coast.
Get all the money that they can find ..
